High calcium levels can pose a problem for the environment, such as plants having a reduced ability of photosynthesis due to residual calcium left on leaves, and mechanical issues such as clogging taps and shower heads.

How Rowater helped Elementa Whitsundays with their high quality water solutions.

In 2023 proprietor Glenn Hitch engaged Flying Foam to project manage the gin and vodka distillery build, taking place onsite at Elementa Whitsundays. Flying Foam recommended Rowater Australia to design, build and install the RO System, initially with the intention of using it just for the distilling process.

After understanding the water quality of the town water from Rowater’s testing, the decision was made to install a RO system that could supply water to all areas of the project, including kitchen, accommodation, function building.

The installation of the Rowater RO has enhanced all aspects of the venue, including health benefits.
