Locals of Quorn in the Flinders Ranges admit that their town water is no good for drinking, let alone for use in beverage production. Alby Trotta from Flinders Gin says that installing the Rowater Pro E RO system has been a ‘gamechanger’.
How Rowater helped Flinders Gin with their high quality water solutions.
In 2022 the owner of Flinders Gin investigated suppliers of RO systems and decided on a Rowater system. Rowater had been highly recommended by the owner of the Craddock Hotel. The RO system was required to produce high quality desalinated water for use in the gin production process. Additionally it is now used for drinking, ice machines and cleaning of the machinery. Prior to this drinking taps and machinery would frequently become clogged with calcium deposits.
Alby explained that having good quality water consistently coming out of the taps is a game changer. He is very happy with the system and would never go back, and confirmed that the Rowater team have been excellent to deal with and were always on hand for regular maintenance.
